Dedicated to Catherine Peek and for who Daniel wrote this song about... their Sheepdog, Everette. After covering his "Don't Cry Baby" song (he loved so much) he asked me if I could redo "Today's the Day" but put a twist on it like I did to the Daisy Jane cover that he praised so much about 2 years earlier. I said I would. So I wrote this "twisted" version before Daniel died and let him listen to it. He said he absolutely loved it. So I'm releasing it on the day he would have turned 61 years young....November 1st, 2011. Rest in peace my friend. ...give Everette a big hug from me up there. ;) We miss you immensely :(

Was it fate...or Gods way of saying it was time to come home? This was the song we did at church on a Sunday afternoon before Dan said good-bye to us. It's just sad that he never got to see it. :( I suggested we do the song...we practiced it a couple of times and even though the harmonica lead is not exact, the meaning is still there. Rest in heavenly peace Dan, I'll never let go of what you meant to me, You were a great friend and I'll never forget the words you left for me to remember. Until we meet again.... down that highway in the sky... ) Uploaded to YouTube on May 7, 2010 -
This is my 1st video compilation ever! It's a song written by Daniel and Catherine Peek, when Dan was with the musical group "America". This particular song came from the last album Dan was on, "Harbor" from 1977. I just thought I'd try to cover it. Hope you like it. ;) ) An America music montage set to a video with my America Halloween Pumpkin decoration - circa 2009.

Sometimes nothing is more memorable then the beginnings of life. And you never forget your 1st love. A love that opens the mind to the wonders of living. And for that you will always have that special place in my heart. Farrah, forever and always....we love you ) Uploaded to YouTube on May 22, 2009 -
A video I made as a final project for a final grade while attending Specs Howard School Of Broadcast Arts in Southfield, Michigan in 1997. I co-wrote, filmed, edited and presented it all in 6 days, after my previous project tapes were stolen - 9 days before I had to graduate! So, it's rather amateur. The band "In Beginning" consists of myself on 12-string, then girlfriend - Karen, and long time friend Paul on lead guitar, with our song "Alone"...Hope you like it. ~ Peace ) Uploaded to YouTube on Feb 21, 2009 -
Another instrumental without video. I'm just testing these new tracks to review the responses ~ That's it. Let me know what you think? ~ peace

Sorry, there is no video to this song. I was asked by a friend if I would do an acoustic version of America's "Daisy Jane". So I rushed out a version this past weekend, put a little twist on it and this is it. Hope you like it. :) ) Uploaded on Oct 9, 2008 -
I figured I would try something different. I've had this right handed 12 string guitar sitting around and back when I 1st started to learn the guitar (back in the late 14th century) I had to learn it just like this...upside-down. I really admired Dan Peek from the group America, and the 12-string was what I REALLY wanted to start on (but a left handed guitar was just not available to me). So I thought I'd try to play a short version of one of the songs I (kinda) knew back then by the late King Daniel Fogelberg the 8th...lol ) Uploaded to YouTube on Oct 24, 2007 -
This is just an Acoustic Instrumental version of Bob Welch's "Sentimental Lady". ) Uploaded to YouTube on Dec 16, 2006 -
1st- This a remix (a.k.a. - a different version ok?..lol). This is me attempting to play the guitar in the dark and not looking at the guitar at all. I just wanted to see if I could still play this instrument by touch, not sight. There are a couple of mistakes, but if I had corrected them I would have been defeating the purpose. Enjoy! :) ) Uploaded to YouTube on Jan 24, 2007 -
This was just an instrumental I wrote while in Nashville, TN in 2002. I know...it's not country...and is probably why I'm not there anymore. I made a lot of great friends while living in that wonderful city. But I moved there by chance and left it all to just that.....and within the struggles of writing my kind of music where it is 90% country...I wrote this song...hugged all my friends...and said good-bye :( ) Uploaded to YouTube on Dec 19, 2006 -
This song (w/ vocals and violin etc) is on my 1st album, but I thought I'd put it up on here in the way it was originally written years ago. "Nor Rhyme or Reason", Written : February 14th 1998 ) Uploaded to YouTube on Oct 18, 2006 -
The original version of this song (with lyrics) is on my 1st album "As Fate May Have It" 1998. This instrumental version is on my 2nd album " The Innocence of Pure Tragedy 2003. Originally written for my one true love...who I lost...along the way... Uploaded on Sep 24, 2006 -

Just a song i wrote to my favorite guitarist...Lindsey Buckingham ) Uploaded to YouTube on Sep 26, 2006 -
This piece does not coincide with the original lyrics. This is just an adaptation I put together to celebrate the beauty of this composition...in a different way~ As for the band America...for me?...this is where it all began. This was the sound I soooo fell in love with in the 1970's. And even though I was very young..I knew the sounds and harmonies I would soon represent. I am forever grateful to this band America...and here's to a heart full of thanks that I've set aside solely for them. ;) |
